For Gecina, Sustainable Development is more than just a question of communicating or of a brand image.
The business of property obviously imposes itself over time, as buildings are built to last a long time and the contractual commitments with our customers extend likewise over a long period of time.
As such, Sustainable Development is an integral part of the way we think and of our working processes. Our professions are closely tied to the life and activities in the city. Our concerns are those of the men and women who live or work in our buildings.
Foreshadowing the Environmental Conference, Gecina created in 2003 the Sustainable Development and Quality Committee within its Board of Directors.
The scope of Sustainable Development is extensive. Gecina also wants to act outside the normal scope and support people with handicaps and provide access to a preserved environment. That is why we have decided to create the Gecina Foundation.
With this Foundation, founded on August 16, 2008, Gecina wants to be involved with all of its employees in the field of solidarity.
